Motorist "critically injured" in collision with tree
POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a 21-year-old man was “critically injured” in a car crash this morning.
He was driving a blue Seat Leon which collided with a tree at the junction of Long Lane and Little Lane, Sprotbrough, at around 5.55am.
The man was taken to hospital where he is being treated for “life-threatening injuries”, a police spokeswoman said.
Investigating officers have appealed for anyone who saw the collision to contact police on 101, quoting incident number 115 of March 7.
