More snow possible for Rotherham, warn weathermen
MET Office weathermen have issued a warning of possible heavy snow for South Yorkshire later today.
But they say it won’t last long and will turn to rain this evening.
They say rain, sleet and snow will spread east across the region temporarily with the possibility of icy conditions as rain falls on cold surfaces.
There will be heavy rain and strong winds overnight, but tomorrow will be brighter and much milder, with temeratures hitting around 9 degrees Celsius.
