Mexborough school celebrates hard work

SUCCESS and hard work were celebrated at Mexborough School Specialist Science College's annual speech night.

Students from every year group received awards across all subjects as well as recognition for the best GCSE and A-Level results.

There was also special award-the head teacher's prize for service.

The results were presented by head teacher Chris Coady and this year's guest speaker was Sir Paul Edwards, executive principal at Garforth Community College.

Chairwoman of Governors, Cllr Sue Phillips, also gave a speech.
