ROTHERHAM’S new Mayor and Mayoress have officially taken office in a public ceremony at Rotherham Town Hall.
Cllr David Pickering and his wife Mrs Sue Pickering take over the job from outgoing first citizens Cllr Shaun Wright and Mrs Lisa Wright.
The new Mayor and Mayoress spoke to Advertiser reporter Dave Doyle after the event, reflecting on the morning and revealing their priorities for their year in office.
