Meet the Advertiser's new editor, Andrew Mosley

THE Rotherham Advertiser has a new editor.

Andrew Mosley has taken over following Doug Melloy’s retirement after 27 years in the post,

Andrew (44) was previously assistant editor at The Bolton News and prior to that worked on newspapers and magazines in Devon and Skipton, North Yorkshire.

He said: “I am looking forward to continuing the proud tradition of the Rotherham Advertiser of producing good quality, honest, unbiased community journalism and newspapers that concentrate on what matters to the people of this area.

“I am also looking forward to getting out and about in the area and meeting the people of Rotherham.

“Doug Melloy will be a difficult act to follow, and I wish him all the best in his retirement.”
