Meadowhall marks quarter-century anniversary
Three days will mark the attraction’s first quarter of a century in business — exactly 9,125 days since it first opened its doors back in 1990 — with the birthday celebrations getting underway at midday in the main dome tomorrow.
A host to performances from aerial acts, Bollywood dancers and musical delights will be among the acts taking part in a special performance set to take place at 1pm, 2pm and 3pm throughout the weekend.

Hide AdCentre Director Darren Pearce said ahead of the birthday weekend: "We hope that every visitor to Meadowhall over this very special weekend will get to see and enjoy something that is linked to our celebrations and add to the spirit of the occasion."
As well as the endless list of mall entertainment visitors will even have the chance to become a world record breaker when Guiness World Records! set up camp at the center on Saturday (5).
Also being revealed for the first time will be the results of the shopping centre's unique art project “We're all hearts”.
Darren added: "September 4 is a celebration of bringing people together for 25 years, and and everyone is invited.
