Magna networking event proving popular

DOZENS of companies have signed up to exhibit at a Rotherham business networking event next week.

The Inspiring Yorkshire Business Event, which aims to help boost the booming economy across the county, will take place at Magna next Thursday.

More than 50 businesses have already signed up to exhibit, including CQ Strategic Marketing, Santander, Dearne Valley College, IT Desk and RiDO.

The event will also involve expert speakers from the likes of Charlie Grayson, senior business consultant at Rotherham College, management consultant Andy Hanselman, and a representative from the Federation of Small Businesses.

Magna chief executive John Silker said: “It’s great to have such a wide variety of businesses attending the event.

“All of the businesses on-site will be available to give advice on several areas, including legal advice, business start-up advice and support, IT support and advice on how to grow your business.

“The speakers who are turning up are brilliant and I’m sure they'll contribute to what will be a great event.”

Magna will stage the event in their Big Hall.
