Leadership ‘inspirational’ at Rotherham nursery

Ofsted awarded Kidz@Work top marks and said the quality of teaching was consistently high.

Inspector Rachael Barrett said: “Well-qualified staff provide children with a tailored educational programme and plan an excellent range of high-quality learning experiences.

“Consequently, all children are engaged and motivated to learn, making rapid progress in their learning.”

The 132-place nursery, near Tinsley, was praised for helping children to understand health and the environment.

The youngsters clean their teeth after mealtimes and divide waste into different boxes for recycling.

Mrs Barrett said: “Staff are superb role models and are extremely caring.

“The owner and managers are highly ambitious and communicate their enthusiasm and dedication to achieving excellence and improving outcomes for children to the whole staff team.”
