Lantern tribute to hero James Leverett: PICTURES

HUNDREDS of people gathered to pay tribute to fallen Rotherham soldier James Leverett by lighting Chinese lanterns.

Family, friends and well-wishers gathered in Victoria Park, Rawmarsh, in memory of James, who was killed by a roadside bomb in the Nahr-e Saraj district of Helmand province where he was serving with D (The Green Horse) Squadron, The Viking Group, The Royal Dragoon Guards.
