“It was the start of my career so it is somewhere I will never forget.”

Josh left Rotherham to hone his skills as an actor, singer and dancer in London, playing major roles in West Side Story and The Taming of the Shrew. His skill was quickly recognised and he became head boy in his final year of study.

Grease The Musical is on tour until May next year, with the final show taking place in Sheffield. Afterwards, Josh hopes to pursue his career in television and film.

Martyn Howells, head of performing arts at the college said: “It’s students like Josh that make their dreams a reality.

“It fills me with great pride to see one of former students become so successful and living to his full potential.”
