Jobseekers jump for jobs at trampolining centre

MORE than 300 people have jumped at the chance to grab one of 45 jobs at a unique new trampolining centre in Rotherham.

Jump Inc is due to open soon in Parkgate and the company aiming to put plenty of bounce into family fun said they had been inundated by people wanting to work there.

Around 100 people took part in fun assessment sessions to prepare them for the activities it will offer, including dodgeball, wall running, slam dunk nets, toddler sessions and fitness classes.

The Parkgate site is 30,000 sq ft in size and will host over 140 interconnected trampolines, airbags, slam dunk nets and super trampolines.

There will also be junior trampoline classes, fitness classes and wall running classes and a decidated zone under-6s.

Future Leisure’s Chris Hayes, the founder of Jump Inc, said workers would be offered hourly contracts as the firm wanted to “stay away from zero hour contracts”.

He added: “We were overwhelmed by the number of extremely high quality candidates that applied for positions with us.

“We had two days of fun with all the candidates and the feedback that we got was brilliant.

“From us offering 45 positions, 44 of those have already accepted our offer.”
