Job seeker fair at the New York

JOB-SEEKERS will find a wealth of help and advice at an afternoon employment event coming to New York Stadium.

The Local Employment Advisory Forum will feature 40 local and national companies from a wide range of industries, including the armed forces and Rotherham’s Advanced Manufacturing Park.

They will offer tips on career choice, CV writing and job applications when it kicks off at the ground on Friday, November 22.

The employment fair is being staged by the Barnsley and Rotherham Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with building firms Mears and Morrison.

It will take place from 12.30pm to 4pm and is open to both student and non-student job-seekers.
