It's A Beauty! Oh yes it is . . .

ROTHERHAM Theatres have announced a “beauty” of a panto for next winter.

After a record breaking run last year, the Civic will put on Beauty and the Beast in December.

Tickets are already on sale for the show, which will be produced by Spillers Pantomimes, and key dates, such as Christmas week, are expected to sell out within weeks.

Theatre manager, Mark Scott, said: “Last year’s show took us to NeverNever Land, how do we top that? By bringing a family classic which everyone knows and loves to the stage.

“Rotherham’s panto fans, who keep the tradition of pantomime alive in Rotherham, deserve the best show that we can put on, and we’re determined to make this both a Christmas, and a show, to remember.

“Stars for the show are yet to be announced, but it's going to be another first-class cast.”

Beauty and the Beast starts at Rotherham Civic Theatre on Thursday, December 5.

Tickets are priced from £10.50 for children, £12 for adults or £42 for a family ticket.
