Hunt for £100,000 Rotherham lottery winner

LOTTERY bosses are hunting for a lucky winner who may be unaware that they have won almost £100,000.

A prize of £97,817 has yet to be claimed in the Rotherham area, so National Lottery players are being urged to check and double-check their tickets for the chance to claim their winnings in time.

The search is now on to find the owner of the winning ticket, bought in the Rotherham area, who matched five numbers and the bonus ball in the Lotto draw on Saturday, September 18.

The winning Lotto numbers on that date were 4, 5, 16, 17, 20, 32 and the bonus ball was 3.

The lucky ticket-holder has until 5.30pm on March 17 next year 2011 to make their claim.

If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before the prize claim deadline, the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to good causes.

Anyone who believes they have the winning ticket for any of the National Lottery draws within the 180-day deadline should call the National Lottery Line on 0845 910 0000.
