Hospital to hold recruitment week to help cut agency spend
Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust wants more nursing, allied health, support and non-clinical workers to join its bank of staff.
The target is to reduce the amount spent on agency employees, which was £15.5 million last year — almost five times higher than planned.

“Our bank workers receive great pay and benefits, and using our own bank staff enables us to avoid expensive agency fees.
“This means that we can spend our precious resources where they can make a really positive difference, on providing great care to the people of Rotherham.”
The recruitment drive is November 21 to 25. Anyone interested in working for the trust can meet staff at the hospital between 10am and 2pm each day.
