Home raided by thieves and laptop stolen

The Mercedes van has since been recovered but police officers want to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious.

The burglary happened on Upperfield Road, Maltby, on November 30 between 7.30am and 6.45pm.

A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: “Thieves made several unsuccessful attempts to gain entry into the house, before gaining entry through a door at the side of the house. 

“A laptop has reportedly been stolen from the house and officers want to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area around the time of the incident.
