Healey named MPs’ beer champ
JOHN Healey has been named a beer champion for the second year running.
The Wentworth and Dearne MP took the title in the Parliamentary beer champion awards run by the British Beer & Pub Association and SIBA, the Society of Independent Brewers.
Mr Healey has called for a cut in beer tax and reform of the pub industry, which he said favoured big pub companies at the expense of pub goers, tenants and lessees.
