Hay bales set on fire in Swinton

ROTHERHAM fire crews were called to two hay bales on fire last night.

Two hay bales were deliberately set on fire at 8.10pm on Wentworth Road, Swinton.

Firefighters from Rotherham station attended the incident and they left the scene at 9.35pm.

Dearne firefighters were called out to a field fire at 9.30pm on Deightonby Street, Thurnscoe.

The crew left the scene at 10.25pm.

A bin was deliberately set on fire at 10.10pm on Alderson Close, Swallownest.

Firefighters from Aston station attended the incident. They left 20 minutes later.

Aston firefighters were also called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 2.10am on Leicester Road, Dinnington.

The crew came away at 2.30am.
