Have your say on Maltby

RESIDENTS are being invited to put forward questions to a panel of leading decision makers and influential people at a village Question Time event.

 

The Maltby Question Time session is an opportunity to raise questions with senior officials and councillors on issues that affect residents and the community.

Councillor Maggie Godfrey, chairwoman for Wentworth Area Assembly said: “We’re open to hear from people on topics such as policing, budget cuts, litter, planning and housing – whatever it is that people have real concerns about.

“We have some senior decision makers on the panel so it’s a great opportunity to put forward your views and get feedback and answers on local issues and services.”   

Alongside Councillor Godfrey, the panel will consist of the borough council leader cllr Chris Read, South Yorkshire Police district commander for Rotherham, chief superintendent Jason Harwin, the council’s head of housing, Dave Richmond, strategic director environment and development services, Karl Battersby and chairman of Maltby Town Council, Jon Carratt.

The Maltby Question Time takes place on September 24, between 6pm and 7.30pm at the Edward Dunn Memorial Hall, Tickhill Road, Maltby.

Those attending will also have the opportunity to meet members of the panel after the main event.
