HAVE YOUR SAY: Children enter the fray

CHILDREN from a primary school have appealed for a council-owned holiday activities centre in Filey to be saved for future generations.

The Y5 students at Aston C of E Primary School are backing a campaign to stop a possible sell off of Habershon House where they recently stayed.

They said they were “devastated” by news that it could be sold or demolished.

A decision has now been put on hold by commissioners running Rotherham Borough Council.
