Halloween wigs recalled over safety fears

DISCOUNT retailer Poundland has recalled a series of its Halloween wigs over safety concerns.

The “Fright Nite” wigs, which have been on sale in its stores, online and in Dealz stores since August 2016.

Anyone who has purchased one of those products should return it to the nearest store for a full refund.

A Poundland spokesman said: “As a responsible retailer we take the testing and the standard of our products very seriously and remain committed to the highest levels of product quality which is why we are taking this precautionary measure.

“We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.”
