Government’s business roadshow rolls into Rotherham

A GOVERNMENT roadshow rolled into town to encourage more businesses to export.

The UK Trade & Investment truck arrived at the Advanced Manufacturing Park last Thursday (26) on its nationwide tour.

The campaign aims to inspire 100,000 more firms to begin trading abroad by 2020. Businesses were invited to the AMP to hear more.

Sheffield Master Cutler Craig McKay hopes the roadshow event will spark the imagination of more companies, encouraging them to look overseas.

He said: “We could all be doing much more. You can grow your own business and grow the local economy by getting involved in international trade.”
