George is the best of SEAT's British!

The 19-year-old saw off competition from scores of other apprentices from across SEAT’s 132-strong UK dealer network.

George, a service technician at Stoneacre SEAT in Doncaster, said: “I am delighted to have been named as Apprentice of the Year, and realise how lucky I am to have the job I do.”

George, from Mexborough, joined SEAT straight from school four years ago after leaving Mexborough Comprehensive School.

He won a framed certificate, a voucher for £500 worth of tools, and a tool box.

George hopes that his career with SEAT can steer him towards mechanical work in the world of rally and touring cars.

He added: “I would like to use my skills in motor sports at some stage and achieve as much as I can.”
