Fun day at fire station

FIREFIGHTERS are opening the doors to their fire station for a fun-packed day.

A chip pan fire demonstration, hook-a-duck and fire engine rides are just a few of the exciting activities planned for the open day at Aston Park station on Saturday, August 13.

Crew Manager Sarah McCarthy said: “The open day will be a fun day for all the family.

"It will give the local people a chance to come along and to meet their local firefighters and to have a look around the station.”

The event will be open between 10.30am and 4pm at Aston Park Fire Station on Worksop Road, Aston.
