Free management courses offer

A ROTHERHAM-based charity is launching free leadership and management training for businessmen and women from not-for-profit organisations.

Sector Solutions, a Bramley-based charity dedicated to equipping people for work, is offering Level 3 to 5 NVQ courses to people across all sectors of employment in South Yorkshire.

Chris Ainsbury, the charity’s deputy executive director, said: “These courses are an excellent opportunity for anybody working for a not for profit organisation who wants to gain a recognised leadership qualification.

“

The scheme is funded through the Big Lottery so there is no cost to either the students or businesses, and it is also extremely flexible as students can take as long as they need on each module.”

The training will be delivered by accredited assessors and is made up of a number of projects focused around activities the student carries out while at work.

Students will complete a set number of units to gain either a Certificate (Level 3) or

Diploma (Level 5) in Management, but will be able to complete each unit in their own timeframe.
