Four deliberate rubbish fires over two nights

FIREFIGHTERS dealt with four deliberate rubbish or bin fires in two nights.

Maltby station responded to a wheelie bin blaze on Steadfold Lane at Thurcroft at 9.45pm yesterday (Thursday).

Colleagues from Rotherham station attended a rubbish fire on Fitzwilliam Road, Eastwood, at 1.30am today.

On Wednesday night, there were similar incidents at Bushfield Road, Wath, and Briery Walk at Greasbrough.

Aston Park firefighters attended an accidental chimney fire on Goosecarr Lane in Todwick at 10pm on Tuesday.
