Four deliberate fires in six hours at Canklow

Firefighters were called to Canklow Road at 11.50pm yesterday (Tuesday).

This was followed by two other rubbish fires in the area within the next half an hour, the fire service said.

And crews were called out again shortly before 5.30am today, this time to Centenary Way, where rubbish had been set alight under a bridge.
