Fog and ice warning for Rotherham
DRIVERS face a tricky commute this morning (Tuesday) with icy roads and freezing fog patches across the borough.
The Met Office has issued a yellow ‘be aware’ warning for ice and fog which is valid until 11am.
Its chief forecaster said driving conditions were “difficult with journeys like to take longer than usual”.
He added the fog was expected to slowly thin and lift throughout the morning with temperatures rising to 6°C.
