Flash mob dancers ready to hit Rotherham streets

DANCERS are to perform a "flash mob" routine in Rotherham town centre next wee . . . but the exact location is still a secret.

The surprise show will burst into action somewhere in the town centre as a curtain-raiser to the Rotherham Big Dance, a dance event taking place between 11am and 3pm on July 7.

Big Dance performers from all over Rotherham will be in action in All Saints' Square, alongside troupes from London.

Flash mobbing is a recent trend in which groups of people turn up unexpectedly at a location for some kind of impromptu performance.
