James Horsfield is the bridegroom who believes in the more the merrier - he had five best men.

His fiance Vicky and her father Dave Bilston made their way down the aisle of St Margaret’s Parish Church in Swinton to be met not only by fiance James but also his brother Andy and friends Darren Swift, Richard Shelton, Joyd Mittra and Chris White.

James (32), said: “There was my brother and four friends, all of whom have been good friends over the years either in Swinton or at university.

“I wanted them all to be part of it and to have a role to play.

“My brother Andy was the ring bearer for the service but all five came into the vestry to witness the signing of the register and they all gave a speech at the reception.

“I cleared it with Vicky and the vicar who was quite happy with it.

“They all had various roles throughout the day to make sure everything ran smoothly.”

Maintaining the grand scale of the occasion, the happy couple, who now live in Wath, had a reception for 200 guests at Hellaby Hall Hotel.
