Firework competition set to be a blast!

DINNINGTON will be seeing stars tomorrow evening when firework enthusiasts hold a competition.

They will aiming to produce the best display for £450 and the evening will come to an explosive conclusion when 100 of the largest consumer rockets available in the UK will be set off together.

The event has been organised by Jake Brookes, a representative of Dinnington-based Galactic Fireworks, said: “It will be quite something to see.”

The event, at Dinnington Rugby Club begins at 7pm with the displays from around 8.30pm and the rockets finale at 10pm.

Entry is free and refreshments, including a hog roast, will be available.
