FIRE crews saved a person trapped in a vehicle after a road traffic collision in Thorpe Hesley.

FIRE crews saved a person trapped in a car after a road traffic collision in Thorpe Hesley.

Three fire crews from Tankersley, Rotherham and Elm Lane stations attended a one-vehicle road traffic collision at 7.15pm on Brook Hill, Thorpe Hesley.

One casualty was trapped in the vehicle. Firefighters extricated the casualty who then went to the hospital.

Fire crews left the scene at 8.35pm.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 10.25pm on Cypress Grove, Conisbrough.

Firefighters from Rotherham station attended the incident. They left at 10.55pm.

Rotherham firefighters were called out to a deliberate bin fire at 11pm on Sycamore Road, Eastwood.

The crew left the scene at 11.15pm.

Firefighters from Rotherham also attended a deliberate fire involving a bin at 11.05pm on Doncaster Road, Dalton.

The crew came away at 11.15pm
