Firefighters kept busy tackling deliberate blazes in Rotherham
FIRE CREWS were kept busy by several deliberate blazes in Rotherham and the Dearne Valley last night, with grass, rubbish and a fence all set alight.
Dearne firefighters were called to a rubbish fire on Lancaster Street, Thurnscoe, at 7.35pm.
The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew left the scene at 7.50pm.

Hide AdA crew from Aston station attended a small deliberate fire in woodland at 8pm on Church Lane, Aston.
They came away at 8.20pm.
Firefighters from Cudworth station were sent to a deliberate grassland fire at 9pm on Everill Gate Lane, Wombwell.
The crew came away at 10pm.
Dearne firefighters were called out to a deliberate fence fire at 11.05pm on Doncaster Road, Goldthorpe. The crew left the scene 50 minutes later.
