Firefighters battle blaze in empty building
FIRE crews spent all night tackling a large blaze at a disused building in Masbrough.
Firefighters from Rotherham and Elm Lane stations received a call after reports of smoke coming from the site on College Road.
Crews left the scene around 10pm only to be called back after reports of the fire re-igniting.
The last firefighters left the building, which was due for demolition, at around 7am the following morning.
There were no casualties and the building demolition went ahead as usual.
