Fire crews called to Wingfield shed blaze

A SHED blaze at Wingfield is thought to have spread from a brazier, the fire service said.

Crews from Rotherham and Dearne stations attended Roughwood Road at 10pm yesterday (Monday).

South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue said the incident was accidental and crews were there for just over half an hour.

Earlier, there were deliberate rubbish fires at 8.10pm at Hatherley Road in Eastwood and shortly after 9pm at Canklow Road, Canklow.
