ROTHERHAM’S Wentworth Woodhouse estate is set to host the BBC’s Antiques Roadshow.

The long-running television favourite will head to the Grade I-listed stately home on September 19 with a team of experts giving members of the public the chance to uncover the secrets of their most treasured items.

Presenter Fiona Bruce will also explore the house as part of the show.

Members of the public are being invited to bring their antiques for analysis and more than 2,000 people are expected to attend.

Organisers of the event have suggested that admission will be permitted between 9.30am and 4.30pm, with filming expected to continue until around 7pm.
