The plan allocates space for 5,471 properties across Parkgate, Rawmarsh, Greasbrough and Kimberworth — including 1,700 at Bassingthorpe Farm.

Around 1,300 homes are suggested for the Dinnington, Anston and Laughton Common areas, plus 38 hectares of employment land.

You can also have your say at www.rotherham.gov.uk/localplan until November 24. Further consultation will take place in summer 2015.
