Festive fun photo opportunities with family dressed as Christmas characters

A FAMILY are spreading Christmas cheer by dressing up as festive characters after draping their home and garden in decorations.

Ceri Casson, partner Dean Anderson and daughters Scarlett (9) and Isabella (6) are donning their costumes every Friday night and offering visitors the chance to have their photo taken with a snowman, elf or the Grinch, as well as handing out chocolates and candy canes to kids.

Ceri, of Oaks Lane, Kimberworth Park, said: “It’s been wonderful and seeing the smiles on kids’ faces has made it all worth it.

“It’s been a hard couple of years with Covid so we wanted to give the kids something to look forward to.”

The family will be greeting the public again on Friday (17) and their collection of decorations will be on display until after Christmas.
