The Sheppey in Maltby held its second annual charity event for Andy's Man Club which included live bands and entertainment, food, a tombola, stalls and a bouncy castle to raise funds for AMC Rotherham team who hold support sessions every Monday evening, except Bank Holidays, across the borough including at AESSEAL New York Stadium and Tesco Community Space on Drummond Street.
The AMC Rotherham team – including facilitator Les Elvin – were invited to the pub on Grange Lane for a second year to take a stall and talk to guests about their work.
Pub licensee Glynn Brown said: “We held a similar event last year and raised about £625 so to raise even more this year was great.
“It is so important to talk about men's mental health – so many people in the area have experienced issues with it, myself and some of my friends included.
“Les has helped many people when they have needed it – I can't give him enough credit, he has been there 100 per cent – so I have a lot of time for him and AMC.
“The whole event was fantastic – everybody got involved and gave up time or resources.
“The truck company JP Walton lent us a trailer as a stage for live music so we could have bands and singers who gave up their time to perform.
“It made for a great charity day which brought all of the community together.”
