Fancy dress sponsored walk in uncle's memory
A FUND-RAISER is heading off on a fancy dress sponsored walk this weekend in memory of her uncle.
Sidonie Page has organised the six-and-a-half mile walk through Swinton, Wath and Mexborough on Saturday to pay tribute to her uncle Billy Mansell (pictured), who died in a motorbike crash.
She is raising money for Yorkshire Air Ambulance, who airlifted him to hospital after the accident eight years ago.
Sidonie will also be holding a family fun day at St Margaret’s Church in Swinton on August 15, while a football tournament and coffee morning are also being planned.
