Entries must be in fast for young entrepreneur awards

YOUNG entrepreneurs are being urged to get their entries in fast for an awards scheme recognising the town’s newest innovators and business brains.

Rotherham Youth Enterprise and UK Steel Enterprise will hang out gongs to the people hehind the best businesses run by 18 to 30-year-olds in Rotherham that have been up and running for at least six months.

Categories include Best New Start-Up, Business Most Determined to Succeed, Best Established Business, Most Innovative Business, and Best Customer Service; with one winner also going on to be crowned Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2016.

Winners will win a £500 boost to help further their business, with an additional cash prize of £1,000 also awarded to the overarching winner. 

Entries for the awards have to be in by next Monday and entry forms are available by contacting Rotherham Youth Enterprise at www.rotherham.gov.uk/rye and or from Darren McDool on 0114 2695053.
