East Dene post office set for revamp

The branch at Far Lane, East Dene, will be shut from next Monday until June 6 to be transformed into a new open-plan layout with three serving positions.

It will also have longer opening hours, with customers able to pop in from 8am to 8pm every day — an extra 38 hours every week.

They will also be able to renew their car tax there.

Nearby branches available during the closure include Middle Lane Post Office and Rotherham Post Office in Bridegate.
