Do you know an unsung hero from Rotherham?

VOLUNTARY Action Rotherham has launched its annual hunt for Rotherham’s unsung heroes — and there are just two weeks until nominations close.

The Rotherham Community Achievement Awards are now open for nominations, with three categories up for grabs: Volunteer, Young Volunteer (aged under 25) and Project.

Organised by VAR on behalf of the Rotherham Partnership, the tenth Community Achievement Awards will celebrate the work of individuals and projects in the voluntary and community sector that have made a significant difference to the communities of Rotherham.

Those shortlisted will be invited to a glittering awards ceremony and dinner at the Carlton Park Hotel in November.
