Deliberate fire at kids' playground in East Herringthorpe

RUBBER matting at a children’s playground was deliberately set alight at East Herringthorpe.

Firefighters from Rotherham station were called to Oldfield Road shortly after 8.30pm yesterday.

Also over the weekend, there were deliberate fires involving a car at Ivy Lodge Lane, Letwell, at 9.10pm on Friday, and a fridge on Knollbeck Avenue, Brampton Bierlow, just before 5pm on Saturday.
