Decision on shop alcohol licence due today

A HEARING will take place today to determine if a shop in Ferham can continue to sell alcohol.

Ave Ferham Supermarket was found to have sold to underage kids, and illicit tobacco was found there in September 2021.

Rotherham Council says there has been a general failure to comply with licence conditions and a lack of staff training in relation to selling alcohol.

A decision hearing had been set for July 1 but was postponed at the request of licence holder Amanj Jawad.
