Woman rescued from River Don
A WOMAN was rescued from the River Don last night (Thursday).
She was found in the river near Market Street in the town centre and firefighters used ropes and boats to get the woman to safety.
The incident occurred around 5.30pm and crews from Rotherham, Dearne, Edlington, and Aston attended.
The woman was taken to Rotherham Hospital and crews left the scene at 8pm.
