Woman has money stolen from purse after intruders broke in to her home

Police have released an E-Fit of one of the intruders

A WOMAN had money stolen from her home after two intruders raided her home in Herringthorpe.

Two suspects, a man and a woman, entered the house on Longfellow Drive at around 8pm on August 16.

Police said the woman had reportedly confronted the two suspects and asked them to leave but later found that money had been stolen from her purse.

They have released an E-fit of one of the suspected along with details of their description. 

The woman is described as white, around 5ft 6ins tall, of a slim build and in her late 20s. 

She was described as wearing a white jacket.

The man is white, around 6ft tall, of a slim build and in his late 20s. 

He was wearing a dark blue tracksuit and a baseball cap.

A spokesperson for the police said: “If you can help, you can pass information to police via our new online live chat, our online portal or by calling 101. 

“Please quote incident number 958 of August 16 2022 when you get in touch.”
