'Wanted individual' arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to manufacture firearms
A 49-YEAR-OLD man was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to manufacture firearms as part of a special police operation.
Police officers looking to locate a “wanted individual” attended the Falcon Pub on Main Street in Mexborough at about 3pm on Tuesday
A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said officers were in Mexborough “as part of a pre-planned operation to locate a wanted individual.”
They added: “A 49-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to manufacture firearms and has since been released on police bail.”
