TV date for Rotherham law firm

STAFF at a law firm will be spotting their offices on TV tonight after they provided the backdrop to BBC drama Prisoners’ Wives.

Actors and production teams descended on Rotherham solicitors Equity Law Chambers (ELC) to shoot scenes for the second series of the hit show.

The series is set in Sheffield and the wider South Yorkshire area and its producers decided the Mansfield Road officers were among their ideal locations.

And the staff will be able to see the finished result tonight when their premises feature in an episode at 9pm on BBC tonight.

Managing partner Azar Iqbal said: “It was exciting having the BBC crew in the office — usually scenes within the reception area are not that dramatic.”
