Three more arson attacks overnight

FIRE crews spent over an hour tackling three deliberate fires – including two blazes in Parkgate – after arsonists struck overnight.

Rotherham firefighters first attended a deliberate wheelie bin fire at 8.25pm on Victoria Road, Parkgate.

The crew left the scene at 8.45pm, but were called out once again to deal with a deliberate fire involving a shopping trolley at 12.55am, coming away 15 minutes later.

Firefighters from Aston Park station also attended a deliberate rubbish fire at 10.15pm on Leys Lane, Dinnington.

They left at 11.05pm
